Puppies sold by Dixon’s Sand Rock Labs are guaranteed to be in good health. Puppies must be checked by a licensed DVM within seven (7) days of purchase. If we don’t hear from you within those seven (7) days we will assume the puppy was in good health. If your licensed DVM believes there to be a problem with the health of the puppy, we must be notified within that seven (7) day time frame for this guarantee to be validated. We must receive written proof signed by your DVM within two weeks (14 days) of his/her findings in order for this guarantee to be in effect.

 
Hip Guarantee

 Puppies sold by Dixon’s Sand Rock Labs are guaranteed to be free from hereditary genetic problems affecting the hips. The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) will certify dog’s hips at two years (24 mos.) of age.  The dog must be x-rayed and certified within six months (6 mos.) after reaching two years (24 mos.) of age, for a total of thirty months (30 mos.). We must receive a copy of the OFA findings within two weeks (14 days) of diagnosis of hip dysplasia in order for this guarantee to be in effect.

Eye Guarantee

 Puppies sold by Dixon’s Sand Rock Labs are guaranteed to be free from hereditary genetic problems affecting the eyes. Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF) will certify puppies at six (6) weeks of age. The dog’s eyes must be certified by the time the puppy reaches 1 year (12 mos.) of age. We must receive a copy of the CERF findings within two weeks (14 days) of diagnosis of progressive retinal atrophy or congenital cataract in order for this guarantee to be in effect.
